Dust and chemicals

When shaping nails and exfoliating skin, large amounts of dust are created. Studies have shown that these dust particles can stay in the air up to 30 minutes after the nail grinder has been switched off. Nail dust with a particle size of 0,8 - 1,6 m is so fine that it can be breathed in. It involves a severe risk because the dust contains bacteria and fungus.

Another type of airborne contaminant in a nail studio comes from chemical ingredients in products for creating false nails and nail polish. They might cause both allergy and cancer - eg. there is often formaldehyde in nail hardeners.

Local exhaust removes the risk

These types of pollution are quickly and efficiently extracted with an extraction arm from Alsident® System. With the correct hood or suction pen, the two recommended systems are able to get close to the manicure work and extract the pollution before it is breathed in by you or your customer. The extraction arms are small and easily pushed away when not in use.
